Holloween/All saint day/All souls day

Halloween means 'hallowed eve'. On the 31st of October we all dress into spooky things. The night before all saints day is Halloween. All saints day means we pray for the people you have died and became saints,these day is on the 1st of November. The day after All saints day is souls day. These day is when we remember the people who have died.

The poltergoose is a very funny book it is so funny I can't stop reading it. I am finish the book and I will read more of his books like the the toilet of doom. I have noticed that the waning crescent moon makes a high tide ,it was at 2:08pm. The lowest tide was the last quarter and it was 4cm. Neither the waning crescent moon or the last quarter are in line with the earth but the waning crescent moon are closer to the earths line.

Fisher men rely on the tide becaues if they caugth a fish at low tide it might not be so nice. If it was high tide and the fisher men go to the rite place and the rite time the fisher men would get a better chance of a good fish.

My holiday

My favorite holiday is Newzaeland's south island because it is the only place I have been to that has snowed. When I went there I went with my two brothers, mum and dad. The best place was Christchurch because it was the place where I snowboared. The instructor that I snowboarded with were teenagers, they were a girl and a boy. I had two lessons.

First we flew into Queenstown and after that we drove to Lake Tekapo and then to Christchurch. The drive was beautiful with lots to see, including mountains, lakes and animals

Which one did I snowboard at and which one did I ice-skate at?

The moon and tides have a connection between them. When the moon is in line with the Earth that causes a bludge and high tide. This happens when there is a full and new moon. The sun and the moon are trying to get the Earth's water but the moon gets more than the sun as it is closer to Earth.

Harry Potter

I am now reading Harry Potter and it is quite exciting. I have just finished chapter one where it is Harry's Birthday. He isn't very excited because he doesn't usually get any presents. This time he was really happy when he got some birthday cards from his friends. His uncle had been very mean to Harry because Ron had phoned him.

The Bad Book

I think the bad book is very very very funny and gross. The best thing is that you do not have to read it in order. The best chapters are bad mummy and bad daddy. All of Andy Griffiths book are good but I think that the bad book is the best. I think this book is the best out of all of Andy Griffiths books.

TASHI

Tashi is always on adventures and doing cool stuff. If I were Tashi I would be a bit careful. I wonder if Tashi would get caught one day. The chapter I think is the best is Taish and the Baba Yaga and the chapter I am on is tashi and the baba yaga. I think tashi is 10/10 and this book is for anyone.

My holiday

On my holiday I went to strady to see my friends.

At Strady I go to see my friends and to have fun on the beach. We go there every year. At Strady we got to play soccer it was Dads Vs lads and got to play in the suerf. Strady has Brown lake and Blow lake but we got to go to Brown lake. We saw a goanna where we were camping.

I enjoyed being at Strady with my friend.

how law are made in Austraila.

Law are made by the government and in the courts by judges.

Common laws are made in the courts by the judges. The judges look at the other previous cases and make their decisions. If the judges have not had or seen it before they have the authority to make a new law. Common laws mean that people have to follow them if you do not you might go to jail for a long time.

State and Federal laws are made by the government. The Constitution of Australia is what the government laws started under. State and Federal laws have their own Parliament and courts. Federal laws everyone has to follow but State laws only the state has to follow. Federal laws is the most important. When the Government wants to change a law they write a bill and the two houses of Parliament have to decide if it is going to happen.

The government has to write a bill to make the laws change. The common laws are changed in the court by the judges if they have a new case.

At home I am reading the big big big book of tashi. I like tashi because he goes on adventures and meets all different charcters but I do not like the bad guys. I recommend the book for boys. I give the book 10\10. I think these book is graet.
